The data centre

it1 is a hall in a carrier-neutral data centre in the west of the city, near Via Caldera. Most of its power comes from Alpine hydro plants and solar farms under long-term contracts, the rest from the grid. Its renewable share is the lowest of the 6 regions.

Summers here are warmer than in the northern regions, so evaporative cooling runs on hot days. Outside air cools the hall for the rest of the year. The GPU racks run on direct liquid cooling.

Three upstream carriers reach the building on separate fibre routes, and the region peers at MIX, the Milan Internet Exchange. Traffic to Italian networks stays in the country.

The region suits services for Italy, and GPU work in the south of the EU. Vienna is 9 ms away for a replica, Copenhagen 22 ms and Lisbon 29 ms.

A GPU server here is one command, and buckets beside the cards answer at https://s3.it1.logi-ciel.co.

$ lc server create infer-1 --plan g-l40s --region it1 \
    --image ubuntu-24.04-nvidia --ssh-key me

Start with one server and one command.

Choose a region and a plan, and add an SSH key. The server answers SSH 38 seconds after the command, at the price on its spec sheet.

logi-ciel is a design concept

This site is a portfolio piece by Soheyb. The brand, the pages and the price list are real design work; the cloud behind them is not. There’s no console to sign in to, and no server to rent.
