Managed Valkey 9, for the Redis clients you use.
Valkey 9 is the BSD-licensed fork of Redis, kept by the Linux Foundation. We run the nodes, the persistence and the failover, which starts after 5 seconds without an answer.
From €7.90 a month
Features
An in-memory store, kept up for you.
Valkey 9
The open-source successor to Redis 7.2, under the BSD licence, with multi-threaded I/O for more requests per core.
Replica and failover
A replica on another host follows the primary. If the primary stops answering for 5 seconds, the replica takes over its address.
Persistence on disk
An append-only file and periodic RDB snapshots keep data through a restart. Turn persistence off for a pure cache.
Eviction your way
Choose the eviction policy, such as
allkeys-lruorvolatile-ttl, and watch memory and hit rate in the console.ACL users
Give each application a user with its own password, and only the commands and key patterns it needs.
Private, with TLS
Nodes listen on your private network only, and every connection uses TLS with a certificate your client can verify.
Pricing
One price per node.
Each plan is one node with its memory and a disk for persistence. A replica for failover costs the same again.

| Plan | vCPU | Memory | A month, at most |

Code
Connect with any Redis client.
lc db creates the store, and valkey-cli or redis-cli connects to it over TLS.
- A replica on another host, with
--standby. - TLS on every connection, with a certificate you can verify.
- A user per application, through ACLs.
$ lc db create cache --engine valkey --version 8 \
--plan kv-2 --region ee1 --network acme-net --standby
Creating cache in ee1 ... primary ready, replica in sync
Host cache.db.acme-shop.internal
Port 6379
$ valkey-cli --tls -h cache.db.acme-shop.internal --user app --askpass

Questions
Questions about managed Valkey.
Does my Redis client work with Valkey?
How does failover work?
What happens when memory is full?
noeviction. To grow memory, move to a larger plan, which takes one short failover.Works with
Managed PostgreSQL
PostgreSQL 16, 17 and 18 with daily backups, point-in-time recovery and a standby for automatic failover. Clients connect over a private network, with TLS required.
Cloud servers
AMD EPYC vCPUs, an NVMe disk and 20 TB of traffic a month. Shared vCPUs for most work, and dedicated ones for steady load.
Private networks
Connect servers, clusters, databases and file storage on addresses of your own, across all 6 regions. Networks and their traffic are not billed.
Start with one server and one command.
Choose a region and a plan, and add an SSH key. The server answers SSH 38 seconds after the command, at the price on its spec sheet.
